Structure of the Programme
- Doctoral Degrees Dr. rer. biol. hum., Dr. rer. nat. or Dr. med. at the medical faculty of LMU Munich
- Doctoral supervisors are habilitated employees of a clinic or the hospital pharmacy at the university hospital, LMU
- Co-Supervision by clinically experienced pharmacists and scientists of the hospital pharmacy at the university hospital, LMU
- Cooperation with professionals in epidemiology, public health and healthcare research
- Planned duration approximately 3 years

The student will gain profound knowledge within the field of clinical pharmacy and personalised medicine. In addition, the student will be trained in how to plan, perform and evaluate pharmaceutical clinical research studies and publish scientific findings.
At the beginning of the project every new doctoral student has the opportunity to do an internship within the drug information unit of the hospital pharmacy. If applicable the student is then introduced to the clinical situation on the respective hospital ward or in the lab.
