Diploma & Bachelor Theses
In cooperation with the Institutes of Clinical Pharmacy of the Universities of Leipzig and Freiburg, the pharmacy of the University Hospital of Munich (LMU) offers the opportunity to write a diploma thesis during the practical year. The topics deal with safety in drug therapy, in particular the assessment of risk factors in hospitalised patients.
Supervision is provided by the Chairs for Clinical Pharmacy in Leipzig or Freiburg and a pharmacist with a doctorate from the pharmacy of the University Hospital of Munich (LMU). Degree candidates are registered as diploma students at their respective universities. The theses must be submitted within six months of registration and defended in an oral diploma examination.
Interested students may apply for internships as a pharmacist at the pharmacy of the University Hospital of Munich (LMU) by stating their desired degree. In order to ensure good on-site supervision, the number of places is limited to a maximum of two per semester. Prerequisites are a good knowledge of German (minimum requirement CEFR-C1) and English.
